Here in New York, only 22% of residents are enrolled in the New York State Donate Life Registry as organ, eye, and tissue donors. Nationwide, the average is 45%. Additionally, there are over 10,000 New Yorkers waiting for life-saving organ transplants. You can help. Biking for NYODN will help spread the message on the importance of organ donation and contribute to increasing the number of registered organ donors in New York.
The Five Boro Bike Tour will take place on Sunday, May 4th and offers 32,000 cyclists the opportunity to bike through all five boroughs– Manhattan, The Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Staten Island.
